Developer Playtonic has revealed that their quirky platformer, Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, will be releasing in October.
Paying homage to the history of the developers, no doubt, the game is a side-scrolling platformer in the same vein as Donkey Kong Country. What’s most interesting about Impossible Lair is that each level will essentially be two, allowing you to switch between states to experience a level from a new perspective.
The release date was announced in a video posted by Playtonic on Twitter.

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will release on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
