Melbourne’s biggest dedicated esports venue Fortress Melbourne, has just announced it’s partnering with Alienware as the official hardware partner.
It’s the first major sponsor to be revealed for the venue, Fortress also announced that Alienware was getting its own dedicated esports area within Fortress, dubbing it “the Alienware Arena”. The arena will be one of the major arenas where players and fans can watch esports tournaments being played at the venue or throughout the facility’s big screens.
Alienware also announced they will be providing more than 150 high performance Alienware Aurora PC’s and peripherals for the casual gaming areas across the complex.
Fortress Melbourne is set to open in March this year, and now they have their first big announcement out of the way now, we can’t wait to see what else they announce soon!
