Facebook has announced that the Oculus Quest 2 will launch on October 14th for $479 AUD ($299 USD). Pre-orders will go live later today.
As leaked earlier this week, the Oculus Quest 2 is smaller and lighter than the previous generation, has 6GB of ram, has more ergonomic controllers, a Snapdragon XR2 Processor and the highest resolution display in an Oculus headset yet.
Other announcements from Facebook Connect included a brand new Splinter Cell VR game, an Assassin’s Creed VR game as well as Jurassic World VR game.
