Danish developer IO Interactive, who we best know for the Hitman franchise, is working on a brand new James Bond game.
Wholly developed and published by IO Interactive, who went independent in 2017, the game allows players to step into the shoes of James Bond as he earns his 00 status.
Yes, that’s right, it’s the first-ever James Bond origin story.
No other details were announced, but you can check out the teaser trailer below:
Honestly I can’t think of a better team to handle the franchise at this point and I can’t think of the last time an announcement excited me more than this.
Project 007 marks a few firsts – the first new James Bond game since the critically maligned 007 Legends in 2012 and the first time the franchise has been in the hands of a publisher other than EA or Activision since 1999.
Platforms and a release window are yet to be confirmed.
