PAX Australia 2022

PAX Australia Will Be Back This Year And Here Are The Dates

PAX Australia has confirmed that it will be back as a live event this year. The convention will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 8th until October 10th.

The company has confirmed that tickets will be limited initially to reflect the current restrictions of the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The team hopes that these restrictions will ease in the lead-up to October and more tickets will be available.

They’ve also confirmed that those that buy tickets from interstate, will be able to have their tickets reimbursed if the situation changes and they can’t travel due to border closures or quarantine restrictions.

Obviously, it’s impossible to know what the COVID-19 climate will look like in October, so it’s really hard to know if this will actually go ahead, but everything is crossed that PAX will be able to have some physical presence in 2021. We’ll keep you posted.

The entire update reads:

The entire Pax AUS team misses you and it felt overdue in giving you an update and some exciting news on all things Pax Aus, so here goes…

Over the past 12 months we’ve all been challenged from very direction. At PAX Aus HQ we tasked ourselves to think differently about how to best connect this amazing community of gaming fans. We’ve focused on delivering meaningful virtual content such as PAX Online and PAX Presents and our brand new PAX Australia Discord channel.

Now, we are very excited to announce that Pax Australia will be back in 2021 as a live event, just as you remember it.

Important information:

Rest assured that the safety of all of our PAX Aus community is our absolute priority and comes first before all else. We will take the necessary precautions for public health and follow national and local health guidelines that are in place at the time of our event, 8-10 October, but please note the following:

  • Tickets will initially be limited to reflect the current capacity restrictions of Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, which we hope will continue to relax as we get closer to Pax AUS 2021, and allow us to release more tickets.
  • If you can’t travel due to COVID-19 border closures, will refund your ticket purchase
  • If you can’t travel due to COVID-19 quarantine restrictions, we will refund your ticket purchase.
