Video game tie-in sneaker drops are becoming increasingly common lately, and the latest collection to enter the fray is this range from Adidas celebrating this year’s excellent superhero video game, Marvel’s Guardian’s of the Galaxy.
Adidas shared an article announcing the release, in which they also spoke to both the Art Director at Eidos Montreal, Bruno Gauthier Leblanc, as well as Tony Holmes (Senior Product Manager) and James Lui (Senior Designer) from Adidas about how the collection came to be and the inspirations behind its designs. The sneakers are inspired by each of the game’s characters, and you can get a look at them below:

Specific region and release details have yet to be announced, but Adidas has set up an email sign-up page for updates on the Australian version of its website, so it’s fair to say we should see the collection here in some capacity.
