kojima the game awards teaser

It Certainly Seems Like Hideo Kojima Will Be Revealing Something At The Game Awards Tomorrow

WHO? WHERE? HOW? WHY?

Video game auteur and generally inscrutable human being, Hideo Kojima, has been teasing a big reveal for some time now.

We’ve seen a series of cryptic posters featuring blacked-out but recognisable faces of actors being slowly rolled out since this year’s Tokyo Game Show, eventually leading us to believe that both Elle Fanning and Shiori Kutsuna are involved in the project in a presumably prominent capacity.

Now, just a day before Geoff Keighley’s enormous The Game Awards show kicks off in Los Angeles and beams out to the world, Kojima has released one more poster which seemingly features Death Stranding star, Léa Seydoux, accompanied by the text “HOW COME?”

The newest images also contain the same mysterious symbols that Kojima has been teasing out in recent weeks.

Several of Kojima’s other tweets this week have indicated that he just so happens to be in LA right now, leading us to assume that he will at least be in attendance at The Game Awards, even if a game reveal isn’t on the cards. Given these new developments though, it’s a pretty safe bet that we’ll be seeing something.

The Game Awards are happening tomorrow at 11.30AM AEDT, head here for all the details on where and when to watch it in your local timezone.
