Five New LEGO Sonic The Hedgehog Sets Are Coming Next Year

Will they go fast?

LEGO and Sonic the Hedgehog fans are in for a treat next year, with the Brick Clicker YouTube channel leaking the existence of five brand new Sonic sets coming in 2023.

While images of the sets are yet to leak or be revealed, it’s noted that these sets will be able to interconnect to form a larger playset and will include a mechanism for “launching” Sonic inside a clear ball around the built level. These sets will include new minifigures and represent an official LEGO “Theme” as opposed to being a one-off Ideas set like the existing Green Hill Zone 21331 set.

The set numbers and prices have also been revealed:

  • 76990 $29.99 USD (approx $45 AUD)
  • 76991 $39.99 USD (approx $60 AUD)
  • 76992 $49.99 USD (approx $75 AUD)
  • 76993 $59.99 USD (approx $90 AUD)
  • 76994 $99.99 USD (approx $150 AUD)

Check out the video below, which is huge and features a ton of leaks of upcoming sets but thankfully kicks off with the crucial Sonic info.

The sole current LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog set is an Ideas set, meaning it started life as a fan-made build and was voted through a process and eventually became an official set. It’s based on the 2D platforming view of the classic Green Hill Zone level and is a fun build that looks great, so if you’re yet to check it out we’d suggest picking one up from Amazon while they’re on special:
