Elden Ring Has Won Game Of The Year At The 26th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards

Another GOTY win for FromSoft's epic.

The D.I.C.E. Awards has returned in 2023 for the 26th year, taking the opportunity to highlight the greatest games and game development achievements from 2022. Brought to the world by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, the event went down in Las Vegas with Greg Miller and Stella Chung on hosting duties.

The awards ranged from recognition in categories of production like sound design, art direction and technical achievements along with genre awards and, of course, the coveted Game of the Year nod, which this year went to Elden Ring.

FromSoftware’s epic open-world action RPG was trading blows with God of War Ragnarok throughout the event, with Elden Ring taking out a total of five awards including GOTY while Ragnarok snagged a whopping seven.
