In a report published at Bloomberg, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been once again delayed, moving from its May release window out to later this year.
NEWS: Warner Bros and Rocksteady have delayed Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League once again, from May to later this year, according to a person familiar. A showcase of the game during a PlayStation stream last month was poorly received by fans https://t.co/R6gzNaftAv

The game has already suffered one delay, but it’s suggested that this delay comes on the back of the audience backlash that swelled following the game’s deep dive at PlayStation’s most recent State of Play.
With that said, Jason Schreier reports that the extra development time is going to be used for polish, as opposed to a complete overhaul of its live-service features.
It’s been a turbulent run for Rocksteady’s effort to veer ever so slightly from their regular Batman programming, with the discourse surrounding the game’s live-service features, which leaked before its reveal, and the need for a persistent online connection have dominated the conversation.
The one positive for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is that, along with the obvious improvements that’ll come with extra time, it moves its release out of a window that now includes games such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Final Fantasy XVI.
