Fresh Prince.

Today’s stacked The Game Awards event has brought with it plenty of accolades, updates, first looks and surprise reveals, awarding some of this year’s best and most exciting games and studios while setting up an exciting future to come.

One neat reveal in the line up was a brand-new story trailer for Ubisoft Montpellier’s upcoming Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, a metroidvania-esque platformer that stars a fresh protagonist named Sargon and promises to be a new high point for the franchise.

It was also revealed that the game will be getting a free, playable demo a week ahead of its January 18th launch, giving curious fans the chance to try it out and see for themselves – we recently had the opportunity to play a few hours of The Lost Crown and will be able to share our impressions when the embargo lifts on Thursday, December 14 at 4AM AEDT.
