Bandai Namco is gearing up for the impending launch of Tekken 8 on January 26th by dropping the game’s full opening movie on YouTube, along with the reveal of the very first DLC fighter set to come to the game.
The opening attract sequence is suitably hype-as-hell for the franchise, and you can watch it below along with a sneak peek of the debut DLC fighter coming to players who invest in the initial “Season” of additional characters – none other than iconic capoeira fighter Eddy Gordo, sporting a fresh new look:
Our very own Matt recently had the chance at a lengthy hands-on with the game’s suite of distinct modes, including its Story Mode, Arcade Quest and the return of Tekken Ball, saying, “As a long-standing Tekken fan I’ve been hanging for this release, and I’m not sure I’m going to be able to wait the extra month post-Christmas for its release. With returning features from previous games as well as gameplay shifts that welcome new players and experienced players alike, Tekken 8 takes everything that came before it and really beats it into shape.”
