Another Final Fantasy UT Collection Is Coming To Uniqlo

Eikonic looks.

Fresh off of revealing a collection dedicated to last year’s The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Uniqlo has also revealed a brand-new Final Fantasy UT collection, following up a successful initial run with some of the titles that were initially left out.

The line features t-shirt designs inspired by Final Fantasy XIV, 2023’s excellent Final Fantasy XVI, and the recent Pixel Remasters anthology. These have so far been confirmed to hit Japanese Uniqlo stores in late June and are yet to be announced for a local launch, but based on previous trends we’d expect to see these make their way over in the months following the Japanese release.

“The first installment of the Final Fantasy series was released in 1987, and is extremely popular around the world for its cutting-edge video technology, unique worldview, and rich storyline,” the collection’s official description reads. “We have a special design that combines the art of Yoshitaka Amano, the artist who creates the world view, and the pixel art that can be said to be the icon of the first six works in the series, XIV where you can adventure with friends online, and XVI, the latest numbered work. This is a limited collection.”

Each design retails for ¥1,500 or around $15 AUD, with most UT Collection shirts retailing for $24.90 if and when they land locally.

We gave Final Fantasy XVI a solid 9/10 in our review, saying “Final Fantasy XVI is an epic in every sense of the word. Consistently sharp writing, a captivating cast of characters, exhilarating combat, and a timeless soundtrack coalesce into an experience that showcases what the PlayStation 5 is capable of at the highest level. It constantly finds ways to top its own scale in remarkable fashion, but never loses sight of the intimate journey its built around.”
