Here’s The First Look At Homelander In Mortal Kombat 1

They're really milking it.

One of the last remaining kombatants to be released as part of Mortal Kombat 1’s “Kombat Pack” has finally gotten their first proper teaser, with a 44-second video dropping that showcases Homelander, iconic antagonist in The Boys.

Looking astonishingly accurate to the version of Homelander played by Antony Starr in Prime Video’s series adaptation, sans Starr’s actual voice, the new character is shown in the teaser pulling off a pretty gnarly fatality along with drinking a, uh, bottle of milk. Yeah, they put that in here.

This new teaser unfortunately doesn’t come with a release date for Homelander, but with The Boys Season 4 set to premiere very soon on June 13th it’s probably not far off at all. You’ll be able to get Homelander as part of the game’s $59.95 Kombat Pack alongside five other fighters, in the $149.95 Premium Edition of the game or separately for $11.95.

Take a look at the new trailer below (it’s Mortal Kombat so naturally be wary of some extreme gore):

We scored Mortal Kombat 1 a huge 9.5/10 in our review last year, with James writing, “Mortal Kombat 1 is a joyful reinvention of a series that is continually hitting its stride. A strong and varied roster is bolstered by an ingenious Kameo system that offers up a great degree of player flexibility unlike anything else. While it’s a bit off an odd choice to not have crossplay at launch and the approach to gear is bound to be divisive, Mortal Kombat 1 feels like the most complete Mortal Kombat experience so far. And perhaps even one of the best fighting games I’ve ever played.”
