Australia’s biggest and most prominent annual speedrunning event, the Australian Speedrun Marathon 2024, is back again next week. The event gets off to a flying start on Tuesday, July 16th and will run for a full five days until Sunday, July 21st.
The event is set to feature some incredible runs of a huge range of games, with everything from Mario Kart 64 to Undertale, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and the fan-favourite The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Even better, ASM2024 is happening in support of the folks at Game On Cancer doing absolutely vital work in funding early career cancer researchers.
Like before, ASM2024 will take place at the Adelaide Rockford, with tickets available now on the official website or at the door for $30. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Game On Cancer. If you’re not in Adelaide or can’t make it in person, the event will be broadcast live on the AusSpeedruns Twitch channel, and donations can be made on the ASM2024 Tiltify fundraising page.
