Nintendo Switch 2 Release Date

A Former Nintendo Employee Thinks The Nintendo Switch 2 Will Release In June

Makes sense

A former employee from Nintendo’s sales and retail department has appeared on the Kit and Krista podcast to share what he thinks might happen with the Nintendo Switch 2 release.

The employee said that Nintendo will definitely be releasing the Nintendo Switch 2 before the end of Summer (Winter in Australia).

“I think we’ll see a June launch. I’m thinking maybe mid-June, or a little bit later than that. But definitely before the end of the summer, that thing’s coming out” said Sean.

In relation to pricing and some of the retailer leaks that have appeared, he said that retailers definitely wouldn’t know price at this stage, and probably don’t have release information outside of a quarter, so any retailer leaks at this stage should obviously be taken with a grain of salt.

A June release would match-up with the April Nintendo Direct 2 going off the original Switch which was revealed in January and then released in March.

All will be revealed in about 5 weeks time.
