Here’s Australian Pricing For The Super Smash Bros Ultimate DLC + Fighters Pass

Nintendo announced overnight that Super Smash Bros Ultimate would get five DLC packs before the end of February 2020. These characters will be entirely new and not echo fighters.

Each pack will include a fighter, a stage and music (relating to that character). You’ll be able to buy these packs separately for $7.80 AUD or $10.20 NZD.

If you’re confident you will want all five, you can buy what Nintendo is calling the ‘Fighter Pass’ which essentially will give you access to five DLC characters, five stages and multiple music tracks as soon as they release. This will set you back $32.50 AUD or $42.50 NZD and it’s a saving of roughly $7 VS buying each character individually.

Nintendo also announced today that those that buy the game before January 31st will receive Piranha Plant as a DLC character in February. This is not one of the five DLC characters. Those that purchase the Fighters Pass will also get an in-game outfit based on Rex from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 at launch.
