Nike has announced the Nike Air Max 97 x Nintendo 64 sneakers.
In a special edition colourway, the new sneakers will have grey mesh (in reference to the controller’s colours), it will have the Nintendo 64 logo honoured through a splash of green, blue, red and yellow. The tongue has three small dots which mimic the console’s front and the tongue’s display the words “POWER” and “RESET”. There’s also an ESRB Game Rating icon and a Nintendo shaped Air Max motif on the heels.
They’re set to retail for $170 USD and will release later this year. Australian details haven’t been revealed but it’s obvious that they’ll be incredibly limited.
