It’s been a big few weeks of Nintendo Switch 2 leaks, starting with DBRAND, and now a number of products from accessory makers have started appearing ahead of its announcement early next year.
What is consistent among the accessories is the fact that the console will be larger with a larger 8-inch display which also means that the Joy-Con controllers will also be larger. It’s expected that they will connect magnetically with a button on the back to release them and the thumbsticks will also have hall effect sticks as well.

Other hardware changes include a new U-shaped kickstand which is consistent across all accessory drops so far, and also a new ‘C’ button that sits on the right Joy-Con. The purpose of this button still isn’t known, but given the capture button still exists on the left side, it appears to not be that button.

We know that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be announced before the end of March, with Nintendo re-confirming this at its most recent investor meeting, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens over the coming weeks and months, but everything that we’ve seen so far seems fairly certain.
We’ll continue to keep you posted as more unravels.
