A release date as well as brand new trailer has just been released for Pokemon Sword and Shield’s first expansion, called Isle of Armor.
The expansion will be out on June 17th and the expansion pass (which includes another expansion set to release later this year) will set you back $45.
This expansion will bring 100 returning Pokemon and you’ll get to explore new areas including beaches, forests, caves and sand dunes. The island also features a dojo, which will be where you’ll spend a lot of time battling other Pokemon.
In the trailer, we got to see Zapdos, Articuno and Moltres in their Galarian forms (who will be coming in the second expansion later this yaer), a Galarian Slowbro and Gigantamax Blastoise and Venusaur. We also got our first look a Regi forms in the form of Regieleki and Regidrago.
