Blizzard opened Blizzcon this morning with the announcement of Blizzard Arcade Collection. The collection brings three of Blizzard’s classic games to consoles and PC and will set you back $30.
The games include The Lost Vikings, Blackthorne and Rock N Roll Racing. Each of the games will come in their original forms as well as versions that have been updated to suit modern graphical. You’ll also be able to rewind time in the games and access features that weren’t available in the originals.
As a celebration of Blizzard, there’s also some game art, development assets, unused content, lore, interviews and more included in the collection.
The new enhancements include:
Watch Mode – The Original Editions of The Lost Vikings and Blackthorne include watch mode, letting players watch a playthrough of the game and jump in to take control at any point.
Save Anywhere – With the exception of the Definitive Edition of Rock N Roll Racing, each version of the game includes the ability to save progress anywhere.
The Museum – A digital museum is included, with an array of bonus materials, such as game art,development assets, unused content, lore, interviews, and more.
