The First Nintendo 64 Nintendo Switch Controllers Are Arriving And It Looks Almost Identical

Aussie Nintendo website Vooks has obtained IRL images of the Nintendo 64 Nintendo Switch controllers, courtesy of a reader who got the controllers early.

I must admit, seeing the controller in the flesh next to an original Nintendo 64 controller has me feeling all nostalgic ahead of the Nintendo 64 update dropping later today.

The controller is almost identical from the front, with a slightly modified analogue stick. On the back is where the major changes are. Obviously, there’s no cord, there’s a USB-C charging port, Switch home/capture buttons and a player number indicator. The rumble pack is also obviously filled in as the controller includes rumble out of the box.

Unfortunately for the moment, these controllers are sold out on the My Nintendo Store but I’d be very surprised if we didn’t see them back at some point. We’ll let you know when that happens.
