It’s no secret at this point that Kirby and the Forgotten Land is one of the most ambitious Kirby games to grace our consoles but Nintendo took it to a whole new level in today’s Nintendo Direct.
The game will feature a new mode called Mouthful Mode where Kirby can inhale real-world objects and transform into them to get around. Some of the examples shown were a Car, a vending machine, a traffic cone and a fan. This takes the Kirby sucking mechanic far beyond enemies that we’ve seen in the past.
Also introduced was the Waddle Dee Weapons Shop in which Kirby can change his appearance and become more powerful.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is out on March 25th. Amazon has the cheapest price at $69.
