Nintendo held its first major Direct of the year this morning, stacked with 40 minutes of announcements and new looks at upcoming games.
One of the huge surprises in the showcase is the addition of Nintendo Game Boy games to the system for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, and Game Boy Advance Games for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack Subscribers available right now.
Original Game Boy games launching today are:
- Tetris
- Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins
- The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening DX
- Gargoyle’s Quest
- Game & Watch Gallery 3
- Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare
- Metroid II – Return of Samus
- Wario Land 3
- Kirby’s Dreamland
Screen filters for the Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket and Game Boy Colour will be available along with local and online play for up to two players in compatible titles.

For the Game Boy Advance, the games coming today are:
- Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3
- WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Micro Games
- Kuru Kuru Kururin
- Mario Kart: Super Circuit
- Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
- The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
These games will have up to four players online and locally for compatible titles.
