Marvel Rivals has been one of the most popular games of the last 6 months, and it can only get bigger by launching on a Nintendo platform, and that’s exactly what will seemingly happen.
Speaking to IGN, Marvel Rivals producer Weicong Wu said that “We’re already in contact with Nintendo and working on some development kits”. He followed on by saying that the reason that the game hans’t launched on Switch is because it cannot provide a good enough gameplay experience.
“And whenever we find that we could provide great performance for our game on Switch 2, we’re open to that. The reason why we didn’t launch it onto the Switch, it was the first generation of that device they cannot provide a great experience for our gameplay. So if it could achieve that goal, we’re open to that.” continued Wu.
It’s reported that third-party partners still aren’t allowed to officially announce games for the Nintendo Switch 2, but that will seemingly change on Thursday, April 3rd when the Nintendo Direct happens.
