We’ve all been waiting for it and Nintendo has delivered (kind of) in announcing a Nintendo Direct.
This Nintendo Direct will be a Partner Showcase taking place on Thursday night (Australian time) lasting roughly 25 minutes and bring information on upcoming Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 games from third-partner publishers.
The announcement was made on Twitter along with the below caption: “Join us for a #NintendoDirect Partner Showcase tomorrow! Tune in for roughly 25 minutes of information on upcoming #NintendoSwitch2 and #NintendoSwitch games from our publishing partners.”

The Nintendo Direct will be taking place on Thursday night at the below times:
- 11:00pm AEST (Melbourne/Sydney/Hobart/Canberra/Brisbane)
- 10:30pm ACST (Adelaide, Darwin)
- 09:00pm AWST (Perth)
- 01:00am Wednesday NZST (Wellington)

In terms of what we’re expecting, a lot of big third-party games have been thrown around lately including Hollow Knight Silksong, and Red Dead Redemption 2 port for Nintendo Switch 2, but given the lack of third-party announcements lately, we’re expecting it to be a big showcase.
