Doom Eternal’s Single-Player Expansion Is Going To Focus On The Ancient Gods

In what is sure to be exciting news for Doom fans, id Software has gone ahead and revealed that Doom Eternal’s first taste at a single-player expansion is going to focus on the Ancient Gods. Not only that, but it might be episodic to a degree judging by its title: The Ancient Gods, Part One.

It’s expected you’ll travel to new realms and find new variety of demon in this DLC, which is of course apart of the Doom Eternal Year One pass that players might have picked up at launch. Here’s a trailer:

The trailer confirms we’ll see more of Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part One at Gamescom Opening Night Live, hosted by Geoff Keighley, on August 27.
