Steam Has Revealed The Dates For Every Sale And Event In 2023

I look forward to buying 100s of games I won't play.

Steam has published its full schedule of every major sale and “Fest” event planned for the rest of the year.

Valve’s digital storefront has regular and immensely popular sales on its platform, with four major storewide Steam Sale events as well as smaller, themed Fests that shine a light on specific categories of game and then three yearly Next Fests with a focus on upcoming titles and playable demos.

The idea behind the disclosure of the events is primarily for the benefit of developers wanting to submit discounts or other assets for their titles to be included, but it’s also handy for regular users to start saving for those big sales. There are some interesting-looking themed sales on the horizon, like a Stealth Fest in July followed by a Visual Novel Fest in August, or the return of the Steam Scream Fest just in time for Halloween in late October.

The officially revealed schedule of sale and event dates is below:

  • Mystery Fest: February 20 – 27
  • Spring Sale: March 16 – 23 (major seasonal sale)
  • Puzzle Fest: April 24 – May 1
  • Sports Fest: May 15 – 22
  • Next Fest: June 19 – 26
  • Summer Sale: June 29 – July 13 (major seasonal sale)
  • Stealth Fest: July 24 – 31
  • Visual Novel Fest: August 7 – 14
  • Strategy Fest: August 28 – September 4
  • SHMUP Fest: September 25 – October 2
  • Next Fest: October 9 – 16
  • Return of Steam Scream Fest (Halloween): October 26 – November 2 (additional details to come)
  • Autumn Sale: November 21 – 28 (major seasonal sale)
  • Winter Sale: December 21 – January 4, 2024 (major seasonal sale)
