During today’s Xbox Games Showcase, we were treated to a brand-new gameplay trailer for Paradox Interactive’s highly-anticipated sequel to Cities: Skylines, as well as the reveal of the game’s release date.
Cities: Skylines II officially launches this October 24th for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The game will build off of its acclaimed predecessor with improved city-building features as well as all-new mechanics and tools. Both a Standard and Ultimate Edition will be available, with the base game retailing for $69.95 and the Ultimate Edition – which includes various content packs being rolled out over time – going for $129.95.
Players will be able to build higher and further than ever before, shape the lives of their city’s citizens and take advantage of deeper simulation and AI strategise, problem-solve, and react to change, challenges, and opportunities.
