Sony have overnight released a new firmware update for PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, firmware update 3.55 is said to improve the quality of the system performance and doesn’t bring forward any exciting new features. Unfortunately, you’ll need to download it in order to access online services, so we’d recommend getting the started ASAP to avoid delaying your next online session. The update comes in at just under 300mb.
Sony have been tightlipped about features coming to the PS4, with major updates being few and far between. I’d expect that we’ll see some pretty major updates on the road to PlayStation VR’s release.
