Strap-on your sombreros, your favourite luchador is back! At last night’s PlayStation Paris Games Week Showcase, Drinkbox Studios announced Juan Aguacate will be donning his luchador mask once again in Guacamelee! 2.
Set seven years after defeating Carlos Calaca in the original, Juan will be venturing through time and space. Cooperative gameplay is also making a return, this time supporting 4-player drop-in/drop-out play.
No word on a release date, but it’s been confirmed for both PlayStation and PC. If you’re into quirky Metroidvania style brawlers, or have ever fantasised about transforming into a chicken, this will be one to look out for.
