The Best Selling Games In Australia For 2017

At the start of December, we posted about the best selling games so far for 2017, but this was before the very crucial Christmas period. Surprising, there’s been a bit of change over the last three weeks of the year.

Here are the best selling games in Australia for all of 2017:

  1. Call of Duty: WWII – Activision
  2. Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy – Activision
  3. FIFA 18 – Electronic Arts
  4. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands -Ubisoft
  5. Grand Theft Auto V – Rockstar Games
  6. Destiny 2 – Activision
  7. Star Wars: Battlefront II – Electronic Arts
  8. Assassin’s Creed: Origins – Ubisoft
  9. NBA 2K18 – 2K
  10. Horizon Zero Dawn – Sony Interactive Ent.

Breath of the Wild just missed out in 11th spot (pretty impressive considering Nintendo consoles sold) whilst Microsoft’s best selling first party game was 34th with Forza Horizon 3.

Activision is the big winner with three games in the top 10 (two of those taking out the top two spots). EA and Ubisoft are also winners with two games each in the top 10. Sony were the only company to have a first party game in the top 10 with Horizon Zero Dawn taking out the 10th spot.
