Anthem Looks Totally Awesome and is Out in February

In addition to showing off the cinematic trailer below, EA dove deep into Bioware’s Anthem during their E3 conference and announced the game comes out February 22, 2019 on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

The game looks similar to the likes of Destiny and the Division in that is is a ‘shared world’ where players experience the same thing – such as weather effects – concurrently. You can experience the story solo, although it is more challenging and encourages co-operative play.

They shared some tidbits about the world and lore, describing the game world as being abandoned by the gods who left their tools behind, tools that create conflict in the game. At launch, the game will include a complete singleplayer experience but will be supported by additional content post-launch.

It includes four different Javelin power suits, Ranger, Colossus, Interceptor and Storm,  that offer different class-based powers.

Besides the cinematic trailer above, they also showed off the gameplay below.
