EA has today released 20 minutes of Anthem gameplay. Whilst it’s not all new footage, it’s an extended look at what we got to see at E3 (and better reflects actual gameplay rather than the stop-start showcase that was there).
It’s narrated by the Lead Producer Ben Irving and shows off more of the traversal, combat and teamwork on display as four freelancers undertake the mission “Scars and Villainy”.
Obviously, it does resemble Destiny a lot, but there’s definitely something nice about how the player seamlessly goes from flying to swimming underwater. The combat is definitely more appealing to me than Destiny as well.
