Spirit Warrior Nightwolf Is Rolling Out To Mortal Kombat 11 Starting Today

The long-awaited second character (sorry, kharacter) for Mortal Kombat 11 has finally begun rolling out to players. From today, Kombat Pack owners will be able to play as Nightwolf. First appearing in Mortal Kombat 3, the spiritual warrior fights with a combination of bows, tomahawks and spiritual apparitions.

Every generation, the Great Spirit chooses a worthy warrior to become Nightwolf: the Matoka’s champion and protector. Grey Cloud proved worthy when he laid down his life to prevent the Black Dragon from plundering what remained of his tribe’s sacred artifacts. As Nightwolf, Grey Cloud possesses extraordinary magic granted by the Great Spirit. He uses it not only to fight for the Matoka’s future, but also to defend all of Earthrealm.

If you own the Kombat Pack, you can download Nightwolf right now. If you want to just buy him separately, he’ll be priced at AU$8.95 and will be available on August 20th next week.

Perhaps paying homage to the game he came from, retro skins for Sonya, Jax, Kung Lao and Kano from Mortal Kombat 3 are also now available to purchase too.

The next downloadable fighter for Mortal Kombat 11 will be Sindel followed by comic book stalwart Spawn, but you can expect a full trailer for those two and two other guest characters on August 21st.
