Square Enix have just announced when the Final Fantasy VIII Remaster will be releasing and thankfully it’s pretty close. As it’s a trend these days, they’ve done so in a trailer which you can find below
The remastered version was originally announced at E3 this year and includes improved character models and textures. The remaster will also include “a whole host of options to customize your gameplay experience”.
It represents the first time that the game will be available on the current generation of consoles since the last release was on Steam back in 2013, although the version currently on Steam does not feature the improved visuals.
Final Fantasy VIII Remastered releases September 3rd on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
