The DualShock 5 Patent Has Revealed The First Info About The New Controller

Videogameschronicle has discovered that the first DualShock 5 patents have appeared on the Japanese Patent Office earlier today.

It doesn’t look a whole lot different to the DualShock 4, but it does appear that it’ll have a microphone, slightly larger triggers (these are the adaptive triggers that Sony has referred to already) and a USB port (USB C is likely). The analogue sticks could also be slightly smaller, but this could just be an illusion caused by the fact that the controller is bigger.

The controller looks to be slightly larger than the DualShock 4 as well, which hopefully means that we’ll get a larger battery in the controller (one area where the DualShock 4 is really lacking).
