Final Fantasy 7 Remake Has Broken Street Date In Australia And It’s Out Right Now

We’ve been saying that it’s becoming more likely by the minute and we can now confirm that Final Fantasy 7 Remake has broken street date in Australia.

When EB Games and JB Hi-Fi stores open their doors today, they’ll be officially selling copies of the game. Online orders should hopefully start arriving today or tomorrow, but we haven’t confirmed this yet.

Both EB Games and JB Hi-Fi are showing the game as in stock on their website and we’ve confirmed with both retailers that they’re selling the game as of today. This is off the back of The Gamesmen saying that the game would be out “really soon” and Square Enix asking fans that get the game early not to spoil it.

JB Hi-Fi has a note on their website along the in-stock notice telling gamer that ‘if they get the game early, please think of others and don’t spoil it for them. Please don’t post videos or screenshots of the game until it is officially on sale on April 10th’

Digitally, the game hasn’t been updated on the PlayStation Store and it’s unclear if this release will move forward.

If you are heading out to a store today, please be kind to staff and please practice social distancing.
