Stars Wars: Squadrons has been officially announced by EA this morning, after the Xbox website went live with information about the game ahead of time.
It’s said that the game is being developed by EA Motive (who developed Battlefront II’s Single Player component) and focuses on aerial/space combat. The game will have a single player campaign as well as a whole multiplayer component.
The game is set to launch later this year on PC and consoles (next gen is assumed but it will also reveal on current gen as well).
EA has announced that the game will be revealed at 1am on Tuesday morning before its full reveal at EA Play next Friday at 9am.
