2K has announced that the next-gen versions of the newly announced 2K21 will cost more on next-gen consoles.
The game is set to cost $109.95 AUD on PS5/Xbox Series X which is $10 more to the $99.99 AUD that the PS4/Xbox One versions will cost. Similarly, in the US, it’s set to cost $69.99 USD instead of the regular $59.99 USD.
Those who purchase the Mamba Forever Edition version of the game will get a free upgrade but this will set you back $149.95. 2K has opted not to use Smart Delivery for Xbox Series X or the similar upgrade program for PS5.
The next-gen version of NBA 2K21 is set to feature unbeatable graphical fidelity, two second load speeds, new gameplay features and expanded game modes.
It’s been long thought that the price of games might go up next-gen due to inflation and more time being spent on developing games more than ever.
NBA 2K21 is set to release on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on September 4th. The PS5/Xbox Series X version will launch alongside the consoles later this holiday.
