A couple of weeks ago, a retailer listed a Prince of Persia remake for PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. The listing was taken down, but Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier has now gone on the Triple Click podcast to talk about the game.
As transcribed by VGC, Bloomberg said that Ubisoft is going to use the second Ubisoft Forward to “announce a bunch of games like the Prince of Persia remake that was leaked a couple of weeks ago”.
We haven’t seen a Prince of Persia since 2010, and it’s unclear if this will be a simple remaster of the original Prince of Persia or a complete re-imagining, but the original is still beloved to this day.
Ubisoft Forward is taking place on Friday morning at 5:00am AEST. We know that we’ll be seeing the re-reveal of Immortals Fenyx Rising (formerly known as Gods & Monsters).
