It looks as though a Prince of Persia remake is set to come later this year with retailer MAX listing the game for release in November on Nintendo Switch and PS4.
Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier then weighed in on Twitter confirming the game’s existence. It’s unclear if this point if the game will just be a graphical improvement on the 2003 platformer or if it will be a complete re-imagining.
Footage of a cancelled Prince of Persia game called Prince of Persia: Redemption appeared onto the internet a little while ago, and it looked pretty fantastic with set pieces and epic battles.
Another Ubisoft forward is coming in September, so we might hear about this then.
