I was sent the listing for this PS5 accessory this morning, and after looking at it for ten minutes, I still do not understand the purpose of it.
Powerwave is selling a PS5 controller crystal protective case, and going off the images and description, I think it’s some kind of hard shell for your DualSense controller, that you put on your controller whilst you’re actually using it. Considering increased vibration and a more grippy texture are two of the main features of the PS5 controller, I can’t for the life of me understand why someone would want to put a hard-shell on top of it. Maybe I’m wrong, and this will become a trend for this next console generation (like those incredibly weird Wii Sports attachments), but this sounds like the absolute worst way to play a game.
