Similar to all of the other retailers (JB Hi-Fi, Amazon, Harvey Norman etc) that sold PS5 pre-orders on Thursday for delivery in mid December, it looks as though those that got into EB Games’ wave 2 PS5 pre-orders back in September will also receive their consoles at a similar time.
This means that if you have a post-launch 2020 PS5 pre-order at EB Games, you can expect to receive your console around December 15th. Definitely nice for those that were hoping to get their consoles before Christmas.
For those that pre-ordered an Xbox Series X and currently have a post launch 2020 order, you should be getting your console extremely soon, with consoles arriving in stores in the next week or two.

As for those that are in the 2021 allocation, we’re still waiting on confirmation on when these are likely to hit stores, but hopefully it shouldn’t be too much past this date.
It’s still unclear if EB Games will take more pre-orders for PS5/Xbox Series X consoles going forward, or if they’ll just be available on shelves on a first come, first serve basis.
