Cyberpunk 2077 Is Definitely Coming Out On December 10th

Earlier this year, CD Projekt RED startled fans with a sudden announcement, explaining that Cyberpunk 2077 would be delayed for a further 21 days, despite prior reassurance that it would launch in September. This was after the delay from earlier in the year. We are now only weeks away from December 10, the slated release date for the highly anticipated open-world action RPG and concerns about further delays are once again stirring the internet.

We are, however, near damn sure that December 10, 2020, will be the absolute, final release date for Cyberpunk 2077, with no further delays expected and here’s why. Earlier this week, CD Projekt Red shared a reflection on their quarter three earnings, development progress and upcoming marketing campaigns. In this presentation, CFO Piotr Nielubowicz reiterated again and again that the game would indeed be launching on December 10.

In addition to this, we recently reported on retail copies of the game making their way to the public well before the official launch. In this, we also mentioned the fact that marketing materials including posters, display cases and Cyberpunk branded balloons had started appearing in Australian retailers, preparing them for launch day early next month.

Cyberpunk 2077 is launching on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on December 10 with Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 optimisation scheduled for sometime next year. If you’re as keen to get your hands on this game as we are, check out this deal right here to get it for $59.
