Resident Evil’s Art Director Has Acknowledged The Thirst For The Tall Lady By Revealing Her Height

Ever since the Resident Evil Village: Maiden Demo launched on PlayStation 5 a couple of weeks ago, the gaming community has been littered with fan-fic, fan-art and memes about the ravishing Lady Dimitrescu, also known affectionately as “the Tall Lady”.

In case you were wondering, Capcom is fully aware of just how thirsty y’all are for the Tall Lady and yesterday, the game’s Art Director, Tomonori Takano, even took to Twitter to address it, directly.

So, not only is the tall lady tall, she’s enormous and stands a whopping two feet taller than NBA Hall of Famer, Yao Ming. If you’re still struggling to envision the Lady’s stature, Microsoft have you covered with this nifty chart, comparing the Tall Lady’s height to a standard refrigerator and then to a less standard refrigerator, the Xbox Series X, of course.

Xbox isn’t the only one to join in on the fun. British developer Ninja Theory also offered their two cents (pence in this case?) informing fans that Senua, the protagonist of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, is also 9ft tall…at least she is, as of now.

There’s a couple of other examples of publishers jumping onboard too.

This is perhaps the best unintentionally marketing campaign of the year so far and we’re loving the silliness that has stemmed from what is actually a pretty grim and gory demo for a game that is sure to be even more grisly when it launches later this year. Resident Evil Village is the sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and releases worldwide for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4/5 and Windows PC on May 7th, 2021.
