Stellar Blade’s Summer Update Is Out Now And Gives EVE A Well-Deserved Break

Just in time for Aussie Winter.

Stellar Blade fans waiting patiently for more content can be moderately excited, with a new free update available now for the game that gives protagonist EVE a chance at some summer sun and relaxation.

The new “SUMMER” update adds two new outfits for EVE along with some new interactions in the Great Desert Oasis that will apparently only be around for a limited time. It’s the Dead or Alive: Xtreme Beach Volleyball of free content updates, basically, and the wait continues for more meaningful gameplay additions to the game.

Along with the added outfits, you’ll be able to buy a new accessory from Clyde’s shop at the Oasis, and listen to some limited-time BGM in that same area. There have also been some assorted bug fixes included. And no, the promised Photo Mode isn’t part of this update, which might be for the better.

Stellar Blade SUMMER Update Patch Notes

  • A small area for a summer vacation has been added for a limited time at the Great Desert Oasis. Gift EVE a tiny break.
  • Summer time-limited BGM at the Great Desert Oasis. You can still listen to the previous Oasis soundtracks at the base camp.
  • Newly added object interaction with the sunbed.
  • Two new outfits and one new accessory have been added and can be obtained from Clyde’s shop at the Oasis.
  • Fixed the issue of the hair color change not applying in the Boss Challenge preset.
  • Various other bug fixes.

It wears its inspirations on its sleeve, but manages to build on them in engaging fashion with a deliciously layered combat system and gorgeous presentation to boot.”
