A couple of weeks ago, we posted about DualSense controller faceplates, which local retailer OzPlay had begun selling. They snapped onto the DualSense controller super easily and improved the look.
The Aussie retailer OzPlay Accessories has now started selling pre-orders for a PS5 faceplate in black, blue and red and we’ve tested it out. They’re super easily to install, with you taking off the white faceplates, and snapping back on the new faceplate (as you can see in the video below).
The faceplates are originally $60 but you can get them for $54 with free shipping using the below links (you need to get to the final stage of checkout before it shows the discount):

The PS5 faceplates will start shipping in late February and the controller faceplates/decals are shipping right now. Obviously, these aren’t made by Sony and probably aren’t endorsed by them either.
They have a nice matte finish, so definitely don’t look or feel cheap, and for me personally, I hugely prefer the black look of the PS5. It’s definitely not as exciting, but definitely suits my entertainment unit a lot better.
It’s worth mentioning that you don’t get the cutout of the PlayStation logo, so if that’s something you like it won’t be there, but as far as quality and fit goes, it’s near identical to that the original PS5 faceplates.
The team at OzPlay Accessories says that they’ll have the Digital Edition in the near future as well as more colours, but this is a great way to experiment with your PS5 faceplates by painting them or hydrodipping them without ruining your original PS5 plates.
