UPDATE: PlayStation has now confirmed that Aloy is joining Fortnite on April 15th alongside a tournament and the Limited Time Mode.
In the Limited Time mode, Players will automatically be outfitted as either Aloy or Lara in this Duos mode, with their teammate being outfitted as the other. At your disposal will only be the bow for Aloy and Dual Pistols for Lara — keep an eye out for wildlife and master your crafting skills to upgrade your weapons.
A number of Horizon Zero Dawn items have also been confirmed for Fortnite. All items in the Horizon Zero Dawn Bundle will be available individually, but the Bundle includes the Aloy the Skywatcher Loading Screen as an added bonus. Additionally, anyone who owns the Aloy Outfit and plays Fortnite on their PlayStation 5 will unlock the Ice Hunter Aloy Style, based on the Banuk Ice Hunter outfit from Horizon Zero Dawn.
Following in the foot steps of Kratos and Master Chief, it looks like Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn will be the next iconic character to join Fortnite.
Fortnite leaker HypeX posted a bunch of images and footage of Aloy in Fortnite, showing off two variations of her character (one which is set to be exclusive to PS4/PS5) as well as her item set.
Alongside Aloy, a Limited Time Mode called “Team Up! Aloy & Lara” which will apparently see duos competing as either Lara Croft or Aloy using only a bow or a dial-wielding pistol.
It’s unclear when Aloy will release in Fortnite, but this makes sense given that this season is all about wildlife.
