A New TimeSplitters Game Is Finally Coming

After years of speculation, TimeSplitters is finally coming back.

Deep Silver announced that a number of key original members of the Free Radical Design team are joining together to bring back a studio under the same name. This includes key founding members Steve Ellis and David Doak. The studio will be a subsidiary of Deep Silver.

The announcement was made in a press release, which goes on to say “To finally be able to confirm that the studio has been formed and that we have a plan for the next TimeSplitters game is incredible,” said Ellis “While we cannot tell you anything more at the moment, we look forward to sharing information in the future.” continued Ellis.

Obviously, it’ll be some time before we see this game, with development set to start in the coming months. The studio will be positioned in the Nottingham area, with positions to open up.

There have been three main entries into the TimeSplitters franchise with the last being TimeSplitters: Future Perfect which released for PS2 and Xbox in 2005.
